this approach does not prevent you from using PlatformChannels the same way you would use it in a normal Flutter project.

But if you want to use only some code from Flutter (like calculating something) you would need to have an instance of Flutter running (displayed).

It is definitely possible but I have not seen anybody using Flutter only to run some dart code.
